Chocolate Pound Cake with Strawberry Topping& Whipped Cream

This dessert kind of reminded me of Jimmy's groom's cake, although he can't remember it.

Strawberry Topping
1 pint strawberries
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla flavoring
Dice strawberries, cook 2/3 on medium high heat for 5 minutes, mash with potato masher and whisk, mix with reminaing 1/3 strawberries, chill until ready to serve
Whipped Topping
1 cup cold heavy whipping cream, 1 TBS sugar, 1 tsp vanilla flavoring, beat until stiff peaks form
So easy and absolutely delicious!
